Child Abuse

The topic I would choose is child abuse, "e very year more than 3 million reports of child abuse are made in the United States" (O'Meara, Fedderson, 1959). I would want to make a machine that was able to detect every type of abuse a child can endure. It would be set up right when they walk into their classroom they would have to get passed this detection in order to enter the classroom. With this machine you can either set the child inside a basket and go through or if they are  able to walk they can just walk through. There would be a meter at the top allowing the caregiver to see all the levels of abuse a child might have been affected by.  I believe this machine will defiantly have a positive impact or contribution toward children/caregivers. and families. It will allow us not to miss any type of abuse that might be going on and save lives in the process. Child abuse is going unnoticed and unreported because we aren't educated,"t here are many forms of child ...

Personal Research

The long-term human and fiscal consequences of child abuse and neglect are not relegated to the victims themselves -- they also impact their families, future relationships, and society” (Feit, Joseph, Petersen, & Insitutue of Medcine and National Research, 2014) .  I want to know if anyone has any advice or insight that might help me process throughout this cou...
